🚗 Automotive Mechanic Diesel: Diesel Engine Overview 🛠️
Exercise 1.7.45: Procedure for Removing of Diesel Engine from the Vehicle
આ લેસનમાં આપણે શીખીશું કે વાહનમાંથી Diesel Engine ને સુરક્ષિત રીતે કેવી રીતે બહાર કાઢવું (Remove કરવું).
🎯 Objective (હેતુ):
આ લેસનના અંતે તમે આ શીખી શકશો:
- Vehicle માંથી Engine remove કરવાની સાચી પદ્ધતિ.
🛠️ Remove the Engine from the Vehicle (વાહનમાંથી એન્જિન હટાવવાની પ્રક્રિયા)
તમારે નીચે મુજબના Steps ફોલો કરવાના રહેશે:
- Park the vehicle on a level surface: સૌથી પહેલા Vehicle ને એક લેવલવાળી (સપાટ) સપાટી પર પાર્ક કરો. 🅿️
- Choke all the four wheels with wooden blocks: ચારેય ટાયરની નીચે લાકડાના બ્લોક્સ (Wooden blocks) મૂકો જેથી ગાડી ખસે નહીં.
- Unscrew the bonnet mountings: Bonnet ના માઉન્ટિંગ સ્ક્રૂ ખોલો અને તેને Grill ની સાથે જ બહાર કાઢી લો.
- Disconnect the battery connections: Battery ના કનેક્શન કાઢી નાખો અને બેટરીને બહાર કાઢી લો. 🔋
- Drain the radiator: Radiator માંથી બધું પાણી (Coolant) કાઢી નાખો.
- Drain the engine oil: Engine oil ને પણ ડ્રેઇન (ખાલી) કરી લો. 🛢️
- Remove the air cleaner: Air cleaner ને એન્જિન પરથી હટાવી દો.
- Remove the lower and upper hoses of the radiator: રેડિએટરના ઉપરના અને નીચેના Hoses (પાઇપ) કાઢી નાખો.
- Remove the radiator mounting bolts: Radiator ને પકડી રાખતા Bolts અથવા Brackets ખોલો અને Radiator Core ને નુકસાન ન થાય તે રીતે તેને બહાર કાઢો.
- Disconnect the wire connections: Starting motor, Generator/Alternator, Heater plugs, Oil pressure unit અને Dashboard instruments ના અન્ય તમામ ઈલેક્ટ્રિકલ વાયરિંગ ડિસ્કનેક્ટ કરો. ⚡
- Remove the oil pipe to oil pressure gauge: જો હોય તો, Oil pressure gauge ની પાઇપ ડિસ્કનેક્ટ કરો.
- Remove the exhaust pipe: Exhaust manifold માંથી Exhaust pipe ને અલગ કરો. (ધ્યાન રાખવું: પાઇપના હોલને કાર્ડબોર્ડથી ઢાંકી દો જેથી અંદર કચરો ન જાય). 💨
- Disconnect the fuel supply pipes: Feed pump, Filter connections અને Tank તરફ જતી Fuel return lines ને ડિસ્કનેક્ટ કરો. ⛽
- Disconnect the oil and air pressure gauge connections: ઓઇલ અને એર પ્રેશર ગેજના કનેક્શન હટાવો.
- Disconnect the temperature gauge connections: ટેમ્પરેચર ગેજના કનેક્શન દૂર કરો. 🌡️
- Disconnect the accelerator connections: એક્સિલરેટરના જોડાણો કાઢી નાખો.
- Remove the accelerator control shaft: એક્સિલરેટર કંટ્રોલ શાફ્ટને હટાવો.
- Disconnect the engine stop connections: એન્જિન સ્ટોપ કરવાના કનેક્શન ડિસ્કનેક્ટ કરો.
- Remove the air compressor and its connections: Air compressor અને તેના કનેક્શન દૂર કરો.
- Remove the clutch and gear linkages: ક્લચ અને ગિયરની લિન્કેજ (જોડાણો) હટાવો. ⚙️
🏗️ Engine Lifting and Final Removal (એન્જિન લિફ્ટિંગની પ્રક્રિયા)
- Disconnect the propeller shaft: Gearbox ના છેડેથી Propeller shaft ને ડિસ્કનેક્ટ કરો અને તેને Chassis પર સુરક્ષિત રીતે સપોર્ટ આપો.
- Support the engine at the rear: એન્જિનના પાછળના ભાગમાં Wooden blocks વડે સપોર્ટ આપો.
- Disconnect gearbox mounting bolts: Gearbox ના માઉન્ટિંગ બોલ્ટ્સ ખોલો અને Gearbox ને Flywheel housing થી અલગ કરો.
- Remove the dip stick: ઓઇલ ચેક કરવાની Dip stick બહાર કાઢી લો.
- Fit a suitable engine lifting bracket: એન્જિન ઉપાડવા માટે યોગ્ય Lifting bracket ફિટ કરો.
- Align the left hook of the crane: ક્રેન (Crane) ના હૂકને એન્જિન લિફ્ટિંગ બ્રેકેટ સાથે બરાબર ગોઠવો (Align કરો). 🏗️
- Support the engine at the front: એન્જિનના આગળના ભાગમાં Wooden blocks વડે સપોર્ટ આપો.
- Remove the engine’s mounting brackets: એન્જિનને બોડી સાથે જોડી રાખતા Mounting brackets, Bolts અને Nuts દૂર કરો.
- Attach the engine lifting bracket to the engine hoist: આકૃતિ (Fig 1) માં દર્શાવ્યા મુજબ Hoist સાથે એન્જિન જોડો.
- Lift the engine slightly: એન્જિનને ધીમેથી થોડું ઉપર ઉઠાવો.
- Pull the engine forward: જ્યાં સુધી એન્જિન Gearbox સાઇડથી બહાર ન આવી જાય ત્યાં સુધી તેને આગળની તરફ ખેંચો.
- Lift the engine: હવે એન્જિનને આખું લિફ્ટ કરો. (ધ્યાન રાખવું: એન્જિન હચમચવું કે ઝટકા ન લાગવા જોઈએ (Avoid oscillations and jerks). તે વાહનના કોઈ ભાગ સાથે અથડાવવું જોઈએ નહીં).
- Place it on a workbench/engine stand: એન્જિનને યોગ્ય Workbench અથવા Engine stand પર મૂકો. જો જમીન પર મૂકવું હોય, તો આગળ અને પાછળના બ્રેકેટમાં પૂરતો સપોર્ટ આપો જેથી Oil Sump જમીન પર ટેકાય નહીં. 🛑
